Overcoming Unimaginable Loss

In the span of just one year, Money Williams, a talented basketball player for the University of Montana, experienced the unthinkable. On November 29th, 2023, he lost his father while playing in a game on a trip to Nevada. Determined to honor his father's memory and continue his education and athletic pursuits, Williams persevered, driven by the plan that had brought him to college in the first place.Tragically, just a year later, Williams received another devastating blow – the passing of his mother in her sleep on October 12th. This double tragedy left Williams and his sister, Mo'Ney, responsible for their three younger siblings, Joanna, Jermaine, and Jeremiah Benson. Faced with the immense weight of this responsibility, coupled with their profound grief, the siblings knew they had to confront this challenge head-on.
